Our standard
We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, the standard behind the European accessibility law (EN 301 549). We test with the keyboard, at 360 pixels wide and at 200% zoom.
What we do
Every page has a clear structure with headings, a link to jump straight to the content, a visible focus for keyboard users, fields with labels, enough colour contrast in both the light and the dark view, and respect for your device’s ‘reduce motion’ setting. Results and error messages are read aloud.
Reading comfort
With the button showing a little figure at the top of every page, you choose larger text, more space between lines and letters, a readable font, more contrast, underlined links, less motion or a reading guide. Your choice is saved on your device.
What is not perfect yet
Large result tables scroll in their own box; with the keyboard you get in with Tab and scroll with the arrow keys. The previews of shared links are imitations: a screen reader reads their text, not how they look.
